The use of composites has increased exponentially in most industries, especially the aerospace industry; usage by almost 40% last 15 years. Aerospace components are often subject to high-impact loads, so it is important impact-resistant materials. Kevlar known for its resistance and commonly used as a fiber with various resins achieve desired properties. This paper mainly focuses on weaving basalt plain weave type traditional handloom method. epoxy resin, along harder, then mixed aluminum oxide nanoparticles (Al2O3) different percentages [1%-KB1, 3%-KB2, 5%-KB3] form matrix. laminate fabricated subjected high-velocity bullet impact around 250 m/s. A steel hemispherical head projectile was testing, found be penetrated through all specimens making holes. strength estimated calculating damage area energy absorbed. plate added 3% Al2O3 nanoparticle have improved when compared other two specimens. can bulletproof applications.
